Apple Supports Global Fight Against AIDS with Annual Donation Drive
December 30, 2025

Apple has announced its continued commitment to global health initiatives by pledging to donate $5 to The Global Fund for every purchase made via Apple Pay in the United States and many other countries. This ongoing campaign runs from today until December 7 and is capped at a total donation of $3 million for this year.
The Global Fund is a vital public-private partnership dedicated to combating critical diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria, especially in developing countries. Apple emphasizes that its annual contributions aim to support life-saving health programs across the globe.
This year's campaign is launched ahead of World AIDS Day, observed annually on December 1, underscoring Apple’s dedication to raising awareness and funds for global disease eradication efforts.
A Longstanding Partnership with (RED)
Apple has been a supporter of The Global Fund through its partnership with (RED), an initiative co-founded by U2's Bono. Over the past 19 years, Apple has contributed more than $250 million to (RED), helping fund critical health programs worldwide.
However, in recent years, the partnership has become less prominent as Apple no longer offers devices in (PRODUCT)RED colors, leaving only a single iPhone 14 case available in that iconic red hue.
Upcoming Apple Devices and Features
Aside from its philanthropic efforts, Apple continues to develop its product lineup. Rumors suggest that the company is expected to unveil new versions of its devices, including updates to the Apple TV and the yet-to-be-launched iPhone 18 Pro, which may feature under-screen Face ID and larger display sizes.
Innovations like bright-colored AirPods prototypes have also been tested, reflecting Apple's ongoing experimentation with design and functionality.
Stay tuned for more updates on Apple's initiatives and product launches as the company continues to shape the future of technology and health advocacy.
