It was previously unclear what usage restrictions applied to Gemini across its different subscription tiers. Fortunately, Google has updated its Help Center with detailed information titled "Gemini Apps limits & upgrades for Google AI subscribers."
This new documentation eliminates vague language like “limited access” and provides specific details on usage caps. For example:
- Free accounts are limited to five prompts per day with Gemini 2.5 Pro.
- AI Pro plans increase this to 100 prompts daily.
- AI Ultra accounts also offer 100 prompts per day.
Additionally, free accounts can generate up to five Deep Research reports and 100 images per day. If more than 100 AI-generated images are needed daily:
- Question A: What’s the purpose?
- Question B: Upgrading to a Pro or Ultra plan boosts this to 1,000 images per day.
