Eureka Z50 Robovac with Automatic Carpet Shield and Mop Lifter

January 6, 2026

Robovac with mop shield

Eureka introduces the Z50, a new robotic vacuum that addresses common issues with mopping robovacs, especially on carpets. Priced tentatively at $800, the Z50 features an innovative roller mop cover that automatically lifts and shields before vacuuming carpets, preventing them from getting wet. This design is reminiscent of the cover seen on the Roomba Max 705 Combo but at a more affordable price point, considering the previous model was priced at $1,299.99.

Key Features

  • Automatic Mop Lifter and Shield: The roller mop cover effectively lifts and shields when detecting carpets, eliminating the wet carpet problem—a challenge for many mopping robotic vacuums that cannot lift their mops high enough or require manual removal.

  • Continuous Cleaning System: The Z50 has an onboard water tank that keeps its roller clean, while a separate chamber collects dirty water, ensuring hygienic operation.

  • Powerful Suction and Brush System: With 20,000 Pa of suction power, an anti-tangle rolling brush, and an extendable side brush, the robot efficiently cleans edges and corners.

  • Smart Navigation: Equipped with lidar and AI-powered sensors, the Z50 can intelligently navigate your home environment.

  • All-in-One Base Station: Features automatic washing, drying, and tray cleaning, simplifying maintenance.

Launch Details

The Eureka Z50 is expected to arrive sometime in 2026. As of now, the exact release date remains undisclosed.
