Alienware Unveils New Gaming Laptops at CES 2026
January 6, 2026

Antonio G. Di Benedetto, a seasoned reviewer known for his coverage of laptops and gadgets, reports that Alienware, a subsidiary of Dell, is aiming to expand its reach within the gaming community with two upcoming laptops announced at CES 2026.
The first is an ultra-slim model designed for portability and style. This laptop will be available in 14- and 16-inch versions, boasting a sleek profile that’s approximately 17mm thick. Despite its slimness, it will be equipped with discrete Nvidia graphics, capable of delivering gaming performance tailored for on-the-go users. The design is currently revealed through basic renders, and the prototypes he saw behind glass are not yet operational—leaving many details under wraps.
The second is an entry-level gaming laptop aimed at more affordable pricing. While specific features are scarce, Alienware’s Head of Product, Matt McGowan, indicated that this model will be priced hundreds of dollars less than current offerings, likely falling under the $1,000 mark, to appeal to a broader audience.
In addition to new models, existing Alienware laptops are receiving hardware upgrades. The 16-inch Area-51 and Aurora 16X now feature anti-glare OLED panels that significantly reduce reflections—claimed to cut gloss by 32%—and minimize fingerprints, even though they are not touchscreens. These displays boast HDR True Black 500, peak HDR brightness of 600 nits, and include pixel protection technology to lower the risk of burn-in, enhancing visual quality and longevity.
Stay tuned as Alienware continues to push the boundaries of gaming hardware with these upcoming innovations.
