================================================================================================================
Roborock has announced its latest flagship robot vacuum cleaners, the Saros 20 and Saros 20 Sonic, featuring significant upgrades that promise better obstacle handling and carpet cleaning capabilities. Revealed at CES 2026, these models are equipped with the advanced AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0, enabling them to tackle higher obstacles and improve overall performance.
Enhanced Climbing and Elevation Technology
The upgraded chassis allows the Saros 20 series to climb over thresholds up to 3.3 inches tall, including double-layer thresholds measuring around 1.7 and 1.57 inches per step. This improvement means fewer trips to rescue the vacuum from tricky spots around the home.
Adaptable Carpet Cleaning
Both models employ dynamic chassis elevation that automatically adjusts their height to effectively clean carpets with pile heights up to 1.2 inches. This feature enhances the robot’s ability to maintain thorough cleaning on various surfaces.
Self-Rescue Capabilities
The height-adjustable chassis also facilitates self-rescue if the vacuum gets stuck, reducing the need for user intervention during cleaning sessions.
Advanced Mopping Features
The Saros 20 Sonic stands out with its upgraded VibraRise 5.0 sonic mop, which extends to clean right up to baseboards. Users can tailor water flow and mop vibration settings from Roborock’s app to suit different floor types, ensuring versatile and effective mopping.
Availability and Pricing
Both robot vacuums are expected to launch later this year, though Roborock has yet to release pricing details.
