Asus Unveils New ProArt PX13 Convertible Laptop and PZ14 Tablet for CES 2026

January 6, 2026

Asus has announced its latest creative-focused devices — the ProArt PX13 convertible laptop and the PZ14 detachable tablet — set to launch around CES 2026. These devices cater specifically to creators, featuring high-resolution OLED displays, stylus support, and portable designs.

ProArt PX13 Convertible Laptop

The new PX13 comes in two variants: a standard model and a special GoPro Edition inspired by action cameras. Both models sport a 13.3-inch 2880 x 1800 OLED touch display, offering vibrant visuals suited for creative work. The laptops include a dial pad integrated into the trackpad, aimed at precise control for editing tasks, and are powered by AMD’s “Strix Halo” Ryzen AI Max APUs.

Unique Features of the GoPro Edition

The ProArt PX13 GoPro Edition features design elements inspired by GoPro cameras, such as:

  • Vertical lines on its lid
  • Bright blue accents
  • A rugged, hard-shell laptop sleeve designed for gear protection

The packaging complements this durable theme with pluck-and-pull foam to safeguard your equipment. Additionally, the GoPro Edition includes a one-year subscription to GoPro Cloud Plus, adding value for action camera users.

Additional Details

The PX13 models include ridges for grip and aesthetic appeal, with the hard-shell sleeve shown in promotional images emphasizing portability. Both models are expected to be available in late Q1 or early Q2 2026, though Asus has yet to release pricing information.

ProArt PZ14 Detachable Tablet

Targeted at creators rather than gamers, the ProArt PZ14 resembles a larger Surface Pro, with a sleek 14-inch OLED display capable of 2880 x 1800 resolution at 144Hz and a peak HDR brightness of 1,000 nits. Despite its larger size, the tablet remains lightweight at just 1.74 pounds (0.79 kg) and measures only 9mm thick, making it highly portable.

Hardware and Accessories

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite processor, the PZ14 offers:

  • Two USB4 ports
  • A full-size SD card slot
  • Support for the included Asus Pen 3.0 stylus, which features wireless charging and a built-in pen holder
  • A Bluetooth-compatible keyboard/trackpad cover

The device boasts a larger 75Wh battery for extended creative sessions and is scheduled to launch in mid-to-late Q2 2026.

Availability and Pricing

While final prices are not yet announced, Asus plans to release the PX13 and PX13 GoPro Edition in late Q1 or early Q2 2026, with the PZ14 following in mid-to-late Q2.
